Moriarty Chalice
This silver chalice was presented to the Tralee Dominicans by Charles Sugrue in 1651 when Thaddeus Moriarty was Prior. The chalice represents the continued strength of the Dominicans in Tralee well over a century after the Dissolution of the Monasteries by Henry VIII. It bears a number of figural scenes on its base.

Annual Mass at the Mass Rock will be on Sunday 20th October and will be celebrated by the Papal Nuncio, His Excellency Archbishop Charles Browne.
This is the 360th anniversary of the execution of Fr.Thaddeus (Tadgh) Moriarty OP.
